What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal, similar to the Queen’s garden party. Ladies should wear dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat.
Not allowed: sandals with socks, or white dresses 😉
What will the weather be like?
It will be a warm day, so pack a hat or sunglasses.

The weather on the 8th September over the last four years. We hope that the weather will be like in 2021 or 2020.

Will it be taking place outdoors or indoors?
The church ceremony will take place indoors. If the weather is good, we will have apéro and the reception will take place in the grounds of the church.
What time should I arrive?
10:30 – 10:45 at the church in Thun.
How do I get there?
The best way would be to take public transport to Thun. The church is a 10-minute walk from the train station.
If you come by car, then the best place to park would be in the Parkhaus City Ost – Schlossberg. You can take the lift straight up to the castle and walk two minutes to the church.
Will there be group photos?
Yes, we will take group photos during the Apéro. The group photos will be taken in the following order.

What will we be having for lunch?
For lunch, we will be having crêpes with three different salads. These are the options that you can choose from.

- Zesty Hummus & Garden Greens (vegan – or with Alpine cheese)

- Spiced apple compote (homemade)

“Seasonal from the farm – We make our crêpe doughs according to our recipes with wheat flour from our farm and other fresh organic foods: the vegan wholemeal dough for the crispy savoury crêpes and the classic dough with milk and egg for the sweet versions.
We fill the crêpes with love, creativity and fresh ingredients directly from the organic farm. Try our lentil pesto garden herb filling, a crêpe with our Bernese alpine cheese AOP and a slightly spicy sauce with minced beef from the Joli Mont bio farm. Our homemade compotes or jams are also a sweet temptation. Of course, classics like Bionella-banana are not missing and, depending on the season, with a fruit from our garden.”
